Privacy

This is an English translation of the Russian original. Where the two differ, the Russian text applies.

We keep exactly what the tools cannot work without: what you asked to analyse or download, how much you have left today and, if you signed in, your name. Below it is point by point, with no “and other information”.

If you have not signed in

The links you paste and the results of their analysis stay on the server for up to 7 days from the analysis (less when the server is running out of room); then the folder is deleted. We never publish the link to a result, and it cannot be guessed: the folder’s name has a random part. But it is not private: anyone who pastes the same address with the same settings while the result is kept gets the same ready result — without learning that you asked for it.

To count the daily limit we need to tell you from another visitor. For that we take your IP address, add a secret key and today’s date, and compute an irreversible fingerprint from them. The address itself never reaches the database. Tomorrow the same address gives a different fingerprint.

The web server’s technical logs contain IP addresses and are kept up to 14 days: they protect against brute force and abuse.

If you have signed in with Yandex ID or Google

You enter your password on Yandex’s or Google’s side, and it never reaches us. From whichever of them you signed in with, we keep your name and e-mail address, and the internal identifier of your account with them. Nothing else: no phone number, no profile photo, no list of contacts. Google sends a link to your profile photo along with your name — it warns about this on its sign-in page — but we discard it at once. We take your e-mail address from Google only if Google has confirmed it.

Signing in with Yandex and signing in with Google are two different accounts, even if the e-mail is the same. We do not merge them: a matching address does not yet mean it is the same person.

We keep which analyses are yours, so that you find them under “My analyses”. Only you see this list.

A consent is recorded together with the edition of the text you gave it under — the date at the top of this page. There are two of them, and they are separate: consent to the processing of your data, without which an account cannot be opened, and consent to letters, refusing which changes nothing else. What you answered and when is shown under “My account” and is in the file you can download there. Consent to letters is withdrawn in the same place; your earlier answer is not erased, a new one appears next to it — otherwise the record of consent would prove nothing. How long results are kept and how long the journal is kept are not part of the edition: they are site settings, and the ones in force are always stated here.

You can delete your account at any time — the button is under “My account”. Your name, your e-mail and the link to your analyses are deleted with the account. If an analysis was started by someone else and you got the same result, they keep it — without any mention of you. If you started the analysis, the result itself is deleted with the account, including for those who got it at the same link. The exception is a result we show as the example on the tool page: it stays while it serves as the example, but no longer tied to anyone’s account.

In case of a failure the server makes a backup copy of the database every hour and keeps the copies up to 30 days. In the copies made before the deletion the account remains until those copies expire — after that it is nowhere. The copies are not handed to anyone and are needed only to restore the site after a breakdown.

If we stop your account (when and why is in the terms), we keep the reason, the date and the term of the stop. This is data about you, so it is in the “My data” file. Deleting the account does not lift the stop. Until its term is over or until we lift it, it is kept after the deletion too — with the irreversible trace of the Yandex or Google account you signed in with, the same one the analyses are counted by (see below). Nothing else is kept with it: no name, no e-mail. If you sign in through that account again, the stop goes on applying. Once its term is over and we no longer have the account, the next clean-up erases it within the hour.

If you bought a plan, we keep the order — which plan, the amount, the dates and how it ended — and what ЮMoney told us about the payment: the operation number, the amount, the time and, if you paid from a ЮMoney wallet, the number of that wallet. Card details never reach us: you enter them on ЮMoney’s page. Orders are shown under “My account” and are in the “My data” file. The payment records remain after the account is deleted — they are the accounting of money received — but their link to your account is erased on deletion.

One thing remains after deletion for everyone, and we say so plainly: until midnight an anonymous mark of how many analyses and video downloads were used today is kept. It holds no name, e-mail or address — only an irreversible trace and a number. Without it, deleting an account would work as a “reset the limit” button: delete, sign in again, get more. When the day ends — at midnight Moscow time — the mark is erased by the next clean-up, within the hour.

Downloading videos

When you paste a link to a video on VK, Rutube, Dzen or Mail.ru, our server asks the site what the video is and gets its title, cover, length, author and the qualities it comes in. It holds this in memory for 10 minutes, so as not to ask the site again if the same video is asked for once more.

Downloading needs an account. While the file is being made and kept, the server remembers the link, what the video is and which accounts asked for it — so that only they see how the download is going and the link to the file. The file is deleted 30 minutes after it is ready, and the record of the download no later than an hour after that. All of this is only in the service’s memory: neither the links to videos nor their titles reach the database, and after the service restarts nothing of them is left.

The work journal

We record what happens on the site: when an analysis started and how it ended, at which step it broke, which domain was analysed, whether it was refused for the daily limit, whether the archive was downloaded. For a video — which site it is on, the quality, how the download ended, how big the file was and whether it was taken, but not the link to the video itself. This is needed to fix what breaks and to understand what is missing.

The journal holds no IP addresses, e-mails, passwords or page content — only the same irreversible fingerprint or, for those signed in, the account number. Entries are deleted automatically, no later than 30 days after they are made.

Cookies

The site sets only the cookies it cannot sign you in without. There are no advertising or analytics cookies and no third-party visitor counters.

Besides cookies, the site remembers a few things in the browser itself, and none of it reaches our server on its own: the colour theme you chose, the «capture everything, skip nothing» box in the analysis settings if you ticked it, your latest analyses — up to 20, to show them on the tool page — and an analysis or video download under way (the link, the title and the download’s number), to go on showing its progress after the page is reloaded. Until the tab is closed the browser also remembers two things: if you went to sign in from the video page, the link and the quality you chose, to bring you back to the same video; if you went to pay, when you clicked the payment link, to recognise you on the way back. Clearing the site’s data in the browser erases all of this.

If visitor counters ever appear, their description will be here, together with a separate request for consent before they load.

Who we share this with

Nobody. The data is on a server in Russia. We do not sell it, exchange it or connect third-party analytics. The only outside parties are Yandex ID and Google at the moment you sign in, and ЮMoney at the moment you pay, when you go to their page yourself. We tell them nothing about you (all ЮMoney gets from us is the order number, the amount and the plan’s name): it is the other way round — Yandex or Google, with your permission, pass us your name and e-mail, and ЮMoney passes us the payment details listed above.

Downloading videos adds the sites they come from: VK, Rutube, Dzen and Mail.ru. Our server asks the site what the video is and for the file itself — and, for a Yandex Video link, Yandex for its page, to learn which site the video is on — in its own name, and tells it nothing about you. But the cover on the video’s card is loaded by your browser straight from the site’s server, so that site sees your IP address — as with any page showing their pictures; the address of our page is not passed to them.

Who the operator is

The site belongs to a private individual. For any question about your data, including deleting an account, write to dobudemru@gmail.com — we reply within 10 working days, usually sooner.

Editions

1 October 2026
The same day: a video is downloaded by a Yandex Video link too, when it is on one of these sites. To learn which, our server opens the Yandex page in its own name and tells it nothing about you.
1 October 2026
The same day: videos are downloaded from Dzen and Mail.ru Video too, on the same terms as from VK and Rutube. Your browser loads a video’s cover straight from its site, so Dzen and Mail.ru see your IP address as well.
1 October 2026
The site also remembers in the browser the «capture everything, skip nothing» box in the analysis settings, if you ticked it, so it stays after the page is reloaded.
29 September 2026
Results are now kept for up to the period: when the server is running out of room, the oldest results are deleted sooner, but never within an hour of the analysis, and ready video files never within 10 minutes of being ready or last downloaded. Before, the site refused new analyses and downloads instead.
28 September 2026
Downloading videos added: what the server learns about a video and how long it holds it in memory, what goes into the work journal, and that VK or Rutube see your IP address when the browser loads a video’s cover. What the site remembers in the browser itself besides cookies is described: the colour theme, the latest analyses, an analysis or download under way, and, until the tab is closed, the video to return to after signing in and the move to payment.
27 September 2026
An English translation published. The Russian text is the one that applies.
23 September 2026
Sign-in with Google added: from Google we keep the name, the e-mail — only one Google has confirmed — and the account identifier; the link to the profile photo Google sends along with them is not kept. Signing in with Google and with Yandex makes two separate accounts, which we do not merge. The list of cookies gained the sign-in mark, which lives no longer than 10 minutes. The section on who we share data with now names ЮMoney too: what it gets from us when you pay and what it tells us. Deleting an account no longer lifts a stop: until its term is over the stop is kept with the irreversible trace of the account, without name or e-mail, and applies again on signing in through the same Yandex or Google account. Backups of the database are described: made every hour, kept up to 30 days, and a deleted account stays in the copies made before the deletion until they expire. A result shown as the example on the tool page is not deleted with the account of whoever ran it while it serves as the example.
22 September 2026
The link to a result is not private; what happens to a shared result when an account is deleted; the reason an account was stopped is kept; what we keep about a plan purchase; a request is answered within 10 working days.
21 September 2026
Without a new date: consents at sign-in added; the result retention period became a site setting; the mark of analyses used is now really erased after midnight — this used to be promised and not done.
20 September 2026
Rewritten: sign-in through Yandex ID, cookies, the work journal, deleting an account with a button.
17 September 2026
First edition.
